Introducing our new homeowner family, pictured here at the site of their new home. Daughter, Diamond, and sons, Jameer and Jaimel, posing with mom, Chiquista Massey. They will be working with us to help build their new home on Usher Road in Lancaster.

Although most of the sitework is completed, we still need sponsors and supporters to get construction underway and reach our funding goal to complete the home.

As you probably know, prices for building materials have increased dramatically, so it’s become more challenging to build an affordable home. However, we are resolved to stay true to our mission and not let the economic effects of Covid-19 prevent us from serving our community! With your sponsorships and donations, we can succeed!

We’ve put together a “quick reference” list to help you decide how to sow into our ministry. Every donation helps us build a home, from just a few dollars to the price of a whole house. Consider your options, and contact us if you need more information. We welcome your support! Here’s the Quick Reference:

Our Mission Statement

Seeking to put God’s love into action, Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, communities and hope.

About Habitat for Humanity of Lancaster County

Habitat for Humanity of Lancaster County has an open-door policy: All who believe that everyone needs a decent, affordable place to live are welcome to help with the work, regardless of race, religion, age, gender, political views or any of the other distinctions that too often divide people. In short, Habitat welcomes volunteers and supporters from all backgrounds and also serves people in need of decent housing regardless of race or religion. As a matter of policy, Habitat for Humanity International and its affiliated organizations do not proselytize. This means that Habitat will not offer assistance on the expressed or implied condition that people must either adhere to or convert to a particular faith, or listen and respond to messaging designed to induce conversion to a particular faith.
